Habitat: Old Growth Pine Forest. Growing with Abies balsamifera, Acer rubrum, Pinus resionosa, Quercus rubra, Aralia nudicaulis, Lycopodium dendroideum, Pteridium aualinum, Poa nemoralis,, etc.
Notes: Analysis of the Vegetative Cover of the Brule River Watershed, Revisited 2015-2018. Perennial low herb, about 2 to 3 inches tall, creeping herb with underground rhizome.
