Growing in Boreal Forest with Abies balsamea, Acer rubrum, Picea glauca, Populus tremuloides, Aralia nudicaulis, Cornus sericea, Crataegus chrysocarpus, Lonicera canadensis, Viburnum rafinesquianum, Anemone quinquefolia, Antennaria parlini, Carex castanea, C. pedunculata, Luzula acuminata, Mitchella repens, Trientalis borealis, Viola labradorica, etc.
