Habitat: Growing within a wet area of a small pothole dominated by Northern Wet Forest within a Northern Mesic Forest matrix. No evidence of disturbance was found in the area. Associated with Alnus incana, Glyceria canadensis, Impatiens capensis, Calla palustria, Potentilla palustre, Polygonatum sagittatum and Scirpus cyperinus.
