Habitat: Under Tilia americana w/ shrubs (Cornus racemosa, Corylus americana, Parthenocissus, Quercus alba, Rhamnus frangula, Viburnum lentago, Vitis riparia) & herbs (Agrimonia gryposepala, Carex, Equisetum, Fragaria virginiana, Galium, Monarda fistulosa, Ranunculus acris, Rubus, Solidago canadensis, S. gigantea, Symphyotrichum sagittifolium, & Trifolium pratense); habitat mostly sunny (shaded in late afternoon); soil moist, well-drained.
Notes: Thirty-one clumps occupying an area 7.75 (N-S) X 13.7 (E-W) m. One particular clump had 16 stems in 2005 & 2007 & 60 stems in 2010. Sheet 2 of 2.
