Habitat: Narrow zone of shoreline sedge meadow, Carex stricta dominant but not forming tussocks, with Iris virginica, Rhamnus frangula (occasional), Typha latifolia, and Symphyotrichum puniceum (common).
Notes: Frequent. N shore of 3rd in a series of ponds excavated long ago to attract wildlife for hunting purposes.
