Tiny strip of beautiful wet-mesic prairie 90 ft. long X 25 ft. wide, upper edge of bottomland. Assoc.: Achillea millefolium, Calystegia sepium, Carex annectens, C. conoidea, C. tenera var. tenera, Desmodium canadense, Dichanthelium boreale, Gentiana andrewsii, Hypoxis hirsuta, Platanthera flava var. herbiola, Potentilla simplex, Poa palustris, Rudbeckia hirta, Stellaria longifolia var. longifolia, Solidago canadensis, & Symphyotrichum novae-angliae. One clump w/ 42 shoots collected, 24 of these fertile, 18 sterile; per. 4.2--4.3 X 1.3--1.4 mm, L/W = 2.8--3.1.
