Habitat:
In shallow soil in crevices of rock on a forested ridgetop. Canopy is Populus grandidentata and Acer saccharum. With Amelanchier sp., Polypodium virginianum, Corydalis sempervirens, Polygonatum pubescens, Aster macrophyllus, Asplenium trichomanes, and Aralia nudicaulis.
Notes:
White petals. Wisconsin DNR permit #594. Four small patches within 0.1 acre.
