Habitat: Sand beaches with well developed complex of primary, secondary and occasionally tertiary dunes and swales; infrequently with active blowouts. Often dominated by beach grasses. Local areas are narrow modern beaches and sea walls. Sand at edge of limestone shelf with Argentina anserina. Cirsium vulgare on end of sand beach. Centaurea maculosa. Lymegrass, European Dunegrass (Leymus arenarius): 6 vegetative culms N of waypoint 20 meters. Solidago spp., Argentina anserina, Elymus canadensis, Lycopus americanus, Euthamia graminifolia.
