Habitat: Extensive lowland prairie on huge outwash sand terrace along river. Dry-mesic segments dominated by Andropogon scoparius, Sporobolus heterolepis, and Koeleria macrantha (on low swells). Additional field notes for Cochrane 8342: Assoc. = Aristida basiramea, Sporobolus vaginiflorus, Polygonum tenue, Prunus pumila, Euphorbia corolata, Eryngium yuccifolium, Aster ericoides, Artemisia ludoviciana.
