Habitat: On high, very rocky prairie dominated by Andropogon gerardii with Allium stellatum, Polygonum tenue, Lespedeza capitata, Polygala sanguinea, Comandra umbellata, Oxalis violacea, Helianthemum bicknelli, Lechea intermedia. Additional notes for 5361: Also with Quercus ellipsoidalis (rare), Rhus typhina, Oenothera parviflora, Campanula rotundifolia, Coreopsis palmata, Liatris aspera (very common), Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Solidago nemoralis var. longipetiolata, Lactuca canadensis var. longifolia, Danthonia spicata, Apocynum androsaemifolium, Aster azureus, Amorpha canescens, Polytrichum.
