Habitat: Roadside at drainage ditch at the edge of a wetland that has been ditched and cultivated but idle now for at least 10 years. Shaded somewhat by willows, mucky soil.
Notes: Several plants together ranging from 6'-7' tall. Several heads in a large cluster. Roots fibrous with no obvious tubers. Stem hairy. Sheet 1 of 4.
