Habitat: Along the stretch of road used to be a railroad bed. Dry gravelly slope along roadside with oak savana/prairie species present. Associates include, Quercus borealis, Euphorbia corollata, Amorpha canescens, Andropogon gerardi, Elymus canadensis, Aster sericeus, Solidago juncea, Achillea millifolium.
