Habitat: Extensive lowland prairie on huge outwash sand terrace along river. Dry mesic segments dominated by Andropogon scoparius, Sporobolus heterolepis, and Koeleria macrantha (on low swells). Additional field notes for Cochrane 8353: Assoc.: Sporobolus vaginiflorus, Polygonum tenue, Hypericum gentianoides, Euphorbia corollata, Prunus pumila, and Aster ericoides.
