Habitat: Abundant in water 18" and deeper, sand bottom, in whose bed are rooted Potamogeton spirillus, Pontederia cordata, Brasenia schreberi, Nymphaea tuberosa. Utricularia vulgaris also present. Additional notes for 5394: Seen throughout the lake, along one shore with Eriocaulon septangulare and Sagittaria cuneata, in other areas with Potamogeton spirillus or by itself.
