Habitat: Xeric sand prairie, RR right-of-way on terrace of river. Andropogon scoparius dominant, with abundant A. gerardii and Sorghastrum nutans, also Salsola kali, Rhus glabra, Monarda punctata, Ambrosia psilostachya, Solidago nemoralis, Helianthus occidentalis, Aster ericoides, A. sericeus, A. linariifolius.
