Habitat: Calamagrostis canadensis and Carex spp. forming robust mats and tussocks with locally dense shrub stands (Cornus stolonifera, C. amomum, etc.) in black, peaty disturbed soil in low-lying seasonally wet area surrounded by spoils bank.
