Habitat:
River 120-150 ft. wide, mostly 2-4 ft. deep, water brownish but clear, bottom mostly cobbles, flowing straight between high banks and mixed conifer-hardwood forest. Vegetation abundant: Potamogeton richardsonii, P. nodosus (?), P. epihydrus, P. zosteriformis, P. alpinus, P. pectinatus, Heteranthera dubia, Elodea.
