Habitat:
Shallow ponds in sand and gravel flats near lake shore at boat landing, behind a low ice-push ridge along shore. Water about 12-16 inches in marsh. Abundant species: Equisetum fluviatile, Alnus, Utricularia vulgaris, U. intermedia, Potamogeton amplifolius, Potentilla palustris, Scirpus acutus, Sagittaria latifolia.
