Habitat: Submersed or floating aquatic plants of fairly deep flowing water of river. The water is hard, in the range of total M.P. alkalinity P.P.M. 100-199. Fish and plant life production is high. Associated near the bridge with Potamogeton crispus, P. zosteriformis, P. nodosus, and Vallisneria americ.
