Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Oneida, Owner State of Wis., Board of Comm. of Public Lands (State Trust Lands) & included in a rare plant survey. Site part of large (600+ acre) wetland assoc. with Kaubashine Creek.

Habitat: Black spruce swamp with about 80% cover; in sphagnum with Carex pauciflora, C. disperma, C. leptalea, C. trisperma, C. paupercula, Menyanthes, Ledum, Vaccinium oxycoccos, and little else. Numerous springs and several spring runs originate at the base of the uplands to the south. Black spruce swamp/bog covers much of the site, with large areas of bog birch/Myrica closer to the creek and spring runs. Tamarack and alder are also common, and there is at least one small area of cedar in the NE4.
