Habitat: Very rich silt loam site. Even-aged elm and bitternut hickory trees 130 yrs. old. Maple and basswood also important. May have been lightly burned about 1835 by big SW Menomonee fire. Basal area: 21866 sq. in./acre. Density: 176 trees/acre. Average D.B.H.: 12.6 inches. Continuum index: 89.1.
