Habitat: Creek bottomland, 13.5 acres, lightly grazed until 4 yrs. ago, burned once since then. It contains 1 Wis.-listed sp. (Cacalia tuberosa-1 plant) plus Napaea dioica-ca. 80 plants. Bird fauna includes bobolink and willow flycather. Assoc.: Carex languinosa, C. molesta, Eleocharis erythropoda, Anemone canadensis, Rumex altissimus, Saxifraga pensylvanica, Lycopus americanus, Mentha canadensis, Pycnanthemum virginianum, Solidago gigantea.
