Habitat: Wet, Carex-dominated E side of gorgeous (never plowed) wet-mesic prairie remnant. Additional habitat information for Cochrane & Cochrane 9064: Mesic, grassy, weedy NW edge of prairie in narrow transition zone to and light semi-shade of adjacent Quercus macrocarpa woods. Associated species incl. Equisetum arvense, Poa pratensis, Carex lanuginosa, Thalictrum dasycarpum, Geranium maculatum, Rosa sp., Helianthus grosseserratus, Silphium terebinthinaceum and Solidago canadensis.
