Habitat: Disturbed tussock (these small) sedge meadow, now a grass marsh (not wet prairie) with Calamagrostis canadensis the dominant, with occasional smaller wetter depressions dominated by Typha latifolia. Associates for Cochrane & Cochrane 7250-7254: Dryopteris cristata, Onoclea sensibilis, Thelypteris palustris, Carex lacustris, C. scoparia, Scirpus pedicellatus, Salix interior, Polygonum sagittatum, Rumex sp., Rubus ideaus, Spiraea tomentosa, Epilobium sp., Asclepias incarnata, Verbena hastata, Scutellaria galericulata, Sambucus canadensis, Campanula aparinoides, Aster simplex, Eupatorium maculatum, E. perfoliatum, Solidago graminifolia.
