Habitat: Wet to damp sandy shore of small kettle hole lake (strand community). Assoc. species for Cochrane et al.10310: Calamagrostis canadensis (abundant), Carex lanuginosa, C. scoparia, Houstonia longifolia, Erigeron strigosus, Spiraea tomentosa, Populus tremuloides seedlings. Mostly in a zone at water's edge. Carex scoparia is common.
