Habitat:
This fen, a spring-fed, peat filled natural drainage basin containing a small lake & ca. 50 acres of marsh & fen. Alkaline southern sedge meadow from seeps and springs at base of a glacial ridge, dominated by Carex stricta, with C. sterilis, C. prairie, C. tetanica, Muhlenbergia glomerata, Sphenopholis intermedia, Lathyrus palustris var. myrtifolius, Chelone glabra, Lycopus americanus.
