Habitat: Sandy edge and low mucky edge of lake, a seven acre, rather shallow, alkaline, very soft water lake located on the bed of glacial lake. Plant associates: Calamagrostis candensis, Carex rostrata, Cyperus erythrorhizos, C. strigosus, Drosera intermedia, D. rotundifolia, Eleocharis intermedia, E. palustris, Fimbrystylis autumnalis, Glyceria canadensis, Hemicarpha micrantha, Iris virginica, Juncus pelocarpus, J. canadensis, Lycopus virginicus, Melampyrum lineare, Polygala cruciata, Rhexia virginica, Rhynchospora capillacea, R. capitellata, Rubus hispidus, Scirpus cyperinus, S. purshianus, Scleria reticularis, Solidago graminifolia, Spartina pectinata, Sphagnum, Spiraea tomentosa, Viola lanceolata, Xyris torta.
