Habitat: Wet calcareous shallow peat; narrow zone of sedge meadow along roadside edge of extensive alder-willow-dogwood carr, bottomland of creek. Additional field notes for Cochrane 6491: A.) Moist sandy loam of roadbank with Equisetum arvense, Bromus inermis, Salix rigida, Phleum pratense, Medicago sativa, Asclepias syriaca. B.) In deeper watter between roadbank and carr with Typha latifolia, Spartina pectinata, Eupatorium perfoliatum. [B was choice circled on label]
