Habitat: Semi-open Acer rubrum--Ulmus americana (with Populus grandidentata) woods on talus slope below cliffs; rough broken ground 0.5 way up SW end of peak. Rock ledges, with Pteridium aquilinum v. latiusculum, Woodsia sp., Polypodium virginianum, Danthonia spicata, carex pensylvanica, C. communis, Aquilegia canadensis, Achillea millefoilium, Houstonia longifolia.
