Habitat: Floodplain forest and openings along sloughs, Acer saccharinum, Ulmus americana, Salix nigra, Quercus bicolor, Betula nigra, Quercus palustris (!!first collection from Wisconsin, 3 trees seen and two collected sub no. 22071 amd 22072), with Hibiscus militaris, Lobelia cardinalis, Boehmeria cylindrica, Carex muskingumensis, Leersia lenticularis.
