Habitat: Wet sandy swale along river, under alder and scattered black ash saplings. With Elymus virginica, C. tuckermanii, C. stipata, C. gynandra, Onoclea sensibilis, Impatiens capensis, Symplocarpus foetidus, Bohmeria cylindrica, Laportea canadensis, Matteuuccia struthiopteris, and a Pilea sp.
