Habitat: Brushy areas and floodplain forest along river, Acer saccharinum, A. negundo, Celtis occidentalis, Fraxinus pensylvanica var. integerrima, Populus deltoides. Colony of stems, probably a clone, stretching along 15m of dirt road at edge or river; stems slender, max. 3.5 tall, 3cm in diameter. A few green fruits, and a few old brown female inflorescences with seeds mostly gone, no sign of any flowers
