Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: wet prairie, dominated by Calamagrostis canadensis (most abundant), Andropogon gerardii (somewhat less abundant), Spartina pectinata (least abundant of the big grasses), also Poa palustris, Elymus virginicus, Muhlenbergia mexicana. Never grazed or plowed but last year dried up in the drought and accidentaly burned. Assco.: Carex tenera, Scirpus atrovirens, Populus tremuloides, Salix discolor, Thalictrum dasycarpum, Geum, Spiraea alba, Pycnanthemum virginicum, Veronicastrum virginicum, Echinocystis lobata
