Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Juneau, Lyndon Station. Hwy 12-16, ca. 1mi. SE of Lyndon Station.
Verbatim Coordinates: T14N R05E sec
Habitat: Between RR and hwy. Growing with Poa compressa as well as Hieracium aurantiacum ands Asclepias verticillata and many other prairie plants. Growing along roadside and in old sandy excavation, and not in unplowed sand prairie. Penstemon gracilis ssp. wisconsinensis in full bloom, but growing in jack pine-oak savanna. About 60plants. 2 now blooming. One w/ 1 open flr and the other with 3 open flrs. Plants evidently a short lived perennial. Many plants with last years dry inflorescences. A few plants dead and w/out basal offshoots [see label for more] Sheet 2 of 2.
