Habitat: On disturbed ground along relatively new, narrow logging road. Moist, somewhat sandy soil. Area select-logged within last year or so.Overstory of Quercus rubra, Acer saccharum, Betula papyrifera, with Ostrya virginiana and Abies balsamea scattered throughout the understory. Ground layer of Carex communis, C. arctata, Juncus tenuis, Cinna latifolia, Polygonum cilinode, Rubus strigosus, and Q. rubra seedlings. One very large plant. Sheet 1 of 2. (GLIFWC, WIS).
