Habitat:
Edge of field access drive, resembling a very shallow ditch; intermittently moist, red gravelly sand. Open, weedy vegetation, Agrostis gigantea dominant, w/ Cicuta maculata, Juncus effusus, Ranunculus acris, Scirpus cyperinus, Stellaria sp. Carex scoparia also near adjacent drier field, there with Phleum pratense, Rumex crispus, Trfolium hybridum, and Solidago canadensis. Collected clump (from near the drier field) with 35 fertile culms. Locally abundant.
