Habitat: In marsh area. With Cornus, Solidago, Sambucus, Helianthus, Trifolium, Plantago, Taraxacum, Ambrosia, Echinocystis, Erigeron, Conyza, Asclepias, Leersia, Rumex, Polygonum spp., Pilea, Bidens, Mentha, Lycopus spp., Amaranthus, Carex spp., grasses and other weeds. Common in this disturbed marsh lowland. Little shade. Soil black, rich, sodden humus.
