Habitat: Sandy open prairie remant which extends over a fense into the corner of a large cemetery. Now being invaded by sumac and other brushy species. In early bloom with Delphinium carolinianum subsp. virescens, Lithospermum canescens, Tradescantia ohioensis, Oenothera spp., Stipa spartea, Panicum spp., Packera sp., Asclepias verticillata, Physalis sp., etc.
