Locality:
United States, Wisconsin, Walworth, Lulu Lake Preserve. Found about 0.25 miles southwest of Lulu Lake, about 250 m east of an abandoned railroad grade, and about 0.25 miles S of the Mukwonago River.

Habitat:
Growing at the margin of a Sphagnum bog, within 10 ft. of upland. Rooted in damp Sphagnum moss but hanging from sedge tussocks. Growing in transitional zone where bog meets upland. Associated with: Carex oligosperma, Carex lasiocarpa, Dulchium arundinaceum, Scirpus cyperinus, Triadenum fraseri, Lycopus uniflorus Plant about 3 ft. long.
