Georeference Remarks:
Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat:
Former sedge meadow between base of knoll, now a monotypic grass marsh consisting of an extensive, severely dense cover of Phalaris arundinacea. Any tussock sedges and bluejoint grass have been eliminated, and forbs are essentially absent too. Besides a couple of these Epilobiums, only a bit of Lemna and one plant each of Lysimachia terrestris and Eupatorium maculatum were seen in an area perhaps 600-700ft. long (E-W) and 200ft. wide (N-S).
