Habitat: Roadside ditch cleared through swampy black spruce forest. In water 4in. deep. Bank: Scirpus rubrotinctus, Polygonum sagittatum, Stellaria longifolia ssp. longifolia, Scutellaria lateriflora. Standing water: Calla palustris, Iris versicolor, Glyceria canadensis, Potentilla palustris, Lysimachia thyrsiflora. Equisetum fluviatile dominates the less-vegetated ditch with deeper, very slowly flowing water across the road.
