Habitat:
Seasonally wet (now dried-up) fire lane through dense rich wet prairie (Spartina pectinata-Panicum virgatum locally co-dominant, with Baptisia alba var. macrophylla, Sium suave, Spiraea alba). Assoc. spp. in low grassy ground of lane: Helenium flexuosum, Lysimachia hybrida, Polygonum hydropiper, Polygonum punctatum, and Rorippa palustris ssp. fernaldiana.
