Wet-mesic prairie on swell grading from mesic center (with Artemisisa ludoviciana, Prunus pumila, Rosa blanda, Gentiana puberulenta) to wet-mesic edges (with Arnoglossum plantagineum, Oxypolis rigidior). Area embodied within extensive lowland prairie (900 acres) on huge outwash sand terrace along the Wisconsin River.
