Habitat: Degraded willow-alder swamp. Nearly full sun. With Salix bebbiana, S. exigua, and (on artificial bank immediately to east) Populus tremuloides saplings. Ground of Rubus strigosus, Equisetum arvense, and Lythrum salicaria.
