Habitat: Damp mossy loamy sand, opening in windbreak surrounding dryish, heavily disturbed sedge meadow (no tussock forming Carices) on sand w/hugh ant mounds, now the border of a white spruce nursery. Assoc. Agrostis gigantea, Carex scoparia, Juncus canadensis, Juncus brevicaudatus. Slight shade to mostly full sun. Assoc.
