Habitat: In one inch deep, clear and cold bay water, in sandy crevices among dolomite cobble of beach pool. Juncus, Eleocharis, and Carex dominant, with Carex viridula, C. buxbaumii, Potentilla anserina, Calamintha glabella var. angustifolia, Ranunculus sceleratus, Lysimachia quadriflora, Tofieldia glutinosa, Veronica anagallis-aquatica, and Solidago ohiensis.
