Associates included Carex stricta, Deschampsia cespitosa, Calamagrostis canadensis, Galium boreale, G. obtusum, Platanthera flava, Oenothera perennis, Spartina pectinata, Sphenopholis intermedia, Andropogon gerardii, Baptisia leucantha, and Poa palustris.
