Habitat: Fine if smallish stand of upland hardwoods on relatively deep soil (MIami Silt Loam). Acer saccharum dom., Fagus grandifolia subdom., w/ Tilia americana, also Ostrya virginiana, Prunus serontina, and, in one wetter area, Tsuga canadensis. Rare. Racemes only 2x as long as wide, but central primocane 1flts. ca. 1/2 as long as wide. Sheet 1 of 2.
