Habitat: Highly disturbed, grassy muddy ground, actively and heavily grazed by a herd of horses that apparently goes out into the water. With Artemisia artemisiifolia, Bidens cernua, Echinochloa crusgalli, Cyperus engelmannii, Polygonum hydropiper, Amaranthus,. little if anything else.
