Habitat:
Wet sunny shore of shallow, drying-up (alkaline?) seepage lake. Near-shore aquatics, free-floating or rooted in peaty slurpy muck of bottom or floating mats. With Leersia oryzoides, Psilocarypa scirpoides, Eleocharis robbinsii, Dulichium arundinaceum,. Scirpus smithii, Pontederia cordata, Nymphaea odorata, Utricularia gibba, U. vulgaris, Bidens cernua.
